I.C.C. (International Chamber of Commerce)
The International Chamber of Commerce, founded in 1919 and based in Paris, is an organization that acts on behalf of businesses in all sectors of the economy across the world to promote the adoption of rules at an international level that encourage international trade, investments and a market economy. The ICC is represented in the individual countries by National Committees. It offers a wide range of services supporting business internationalization, most importantly the International Court of Arbitration. In Italy, the International Chamber of Commerce has an Italian Division (ICC ITALIA), which you can contact for a whole series of publications of interest to enterprises conducting international business: INCOTERMS, Uniform Customs and Practices for Documentary Credits (UCP), ICC international contract forms and so on. |
